The Time is Now

Many people have one watch that is worn everyday, no matter the occasion. My everyday watch is a simple, silver Gucci bracelet watch with a pale pink face. I also have a LAMB watch with a black leather band and larger, gold face. This is more of a "fun" watch that I only wear occasionally. Since watches are part of our everyday outfit, we should have several to choose from. I mean, you don't wear the same earrings and necklace every single day, so why should watches be different?

Let's stop neglecting our most useful accessory and pay attention to timepieces.

Everyone should have a nice watch that can be worn for work and evening events. This watch should be classic and more jewelry than a statement piece. Personally, I favor silver, but if you are a gold person, go with gold. The band should be bracelet-like and the face should be light colored or neutral. If you prefer a leather band, look for a band that isn't too wide and stay neutral with black, brown or tan.

Another watch that is worth considering is a small watch, but more trendy and interesting. Still, look for a bracelet band, but face size, shape and color can vary. Wear this watch on casual Fridays, dates and parties.

Chunky and trendy watches are a great way to update a look and add an interesting accessory to your wardrobe. Find your favorite color, look for funky face shapes and explore your individuality. This watch can be worn casually, on the weekends and when you are out and about. If you pick a watch that isn't too wild, you can also wear a chunky timepiece to work.

For those athletes out there, you also need a watch to fit your lifestyle. If you plan on wearing your watch while doing your favorite athletic activity, like golf, swimming, diving, or tennis, be sure the watch does not get in your way. Before buying, try on the watch and move your wrists and arms around.

Make sure the watch is not too tight or loose; also, check all the specification to ensure the watch is scratch resistant and, for aquatic athletes, can go the depths your desire. When picking a diving watch, it should say "diver's" on it to let you know it conforms to ISO 6425.
