Bibs Aren't for Babies: The Bib Necklace

Statement necklaces, and more specifically bib necklaces, are a must have accessory. The big, look-at-me necklace can elevate a tank, t-shirt or simple dress to a chic ensemble.

The bib necklace quite literally resembles a bib in some forms. Other bib necklaces are just large with a looser interpretation. Many bib necklaces are on a ribbon, which requires you to tie them instead of clasp them. So, even from the back, you have a cute bow just below your hairline. This makes the bib necklace a perfect accessory to wear you hair up with.

With a bib necklace, you don't need to worry about many other accessories. Simple earrings are best, otherwise big chandeliers will just compete with the necklace.

Your clothing should have simple lines and a solid color. Extra embellishments on your clothes and patterns will be too overwhelming. But, don't be afraid to pair jacket or shrug with the look- the necklace will look great peeking out from underneath. You can still have fun with your shoes since they are on the opposite pole of your body.

A great way to wear a bib necklace is with a black tank, dark wash skinny jeans and booties. Also, try a dress, belt and sandals with your necklace.
