Parents want their mini-me's to be just as fashionable as they are since parents see their children as a reflection of themselves. Despite the short period of time children can wear clothes before growing out of them, or ruining them, trendy parents are not just buying Baby Gap, but Marc Jacobs and other high end designer duds. Gucci's Boys and Girls lines are due Spring 2011, Fendi debuted children's line and Cynthia Rowley has even teamed with Pampers for designer diapers to be sold at Target.

While itty bitty Uggs are awfully adorable, I just do not think I could justify spending that much dough on baby or children's clothing that will inevitably be vomited on, muddied and discarded when outgrown.
